Student Assistant (R&D, Lyngby)

Job summary

We are seeking a Student Assistant to support the development of molecular modelling workflows and simulation tools in the R&D department focused on Protein Chemistry and Assays. The role involves working with experienced scientists to enhance data and automation processes related to enzymatic assays.

Qualifications

• University student with at least two years remaining in studies, preferably from a relevant institution.
• Proficient in Python and Linux.
• Experience with Git and application development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Parameterize and validate new molecule models for molecular dynamics simulations.
• Develop workflows and data flows for molecular modelling and simulations.
• Document and communicate developed solutions effectively.

Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a team and assist others.

Education

• Background in biophysics, bioinformatics, biochemistry, data science, or a related field is advantageous.

Tools

• Python, Linux, Git, molecular modelling and simulation tools.
