Student Analyst (Remote, Germany)

Job summary

This position is aimed at students eager to enhance their analytical skills in a commercial setting, specifically within the German Portfolio Management team. The role involves collaborating with both students and full-time staff to support product launches and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data & Analytics, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least 2 years remaining in studies.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market demand, competitors, and product performance to aid in successful product launches.
• Transform data into actionable insights that inform commercial decisions.
• Assist in managing German insurance contracts.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within assigned responsibilities, contributing to team improvement initiatives.
• Engage proactively in a dynamic, learning-focused environment.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, or other analytical tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work with data and convert analyses into insights that support commercial strategies.
• Solid commercial understanding and a keen desire to learn.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Education

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with at least 2 years left to complete.
