Strategy Associate (Renewable Energy, Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves shaping the strategic direction of a major player in the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on wind turbine operations. The position offers significant responsibility and exposure to senior management within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, political science, engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in management consulting or strategic roles within larger organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and translate strategy into actionable initiatives.
• Drive project scoping, analysis, and workstreams related to transformation programs.
• Support various projects across functions such as R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Enhance the Project Management Office by setting direction, targets, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
• Engage in project management, stakeholder engagement, analysis, problem-solving, and strategic communication.

Skills

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of the relationship between business value and strategic initiatives.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach with a strong consulting toolkit.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for senior leaders in both written and verbal communication.
• Self-directed with a collaborative mindset, ready to support team efforts.

Education

• A degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for advanced degrees.
