Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of Licensed Practical Nurses and other support staff.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address patient care needs.
• Document patient interactions in accordance with agency policies.
• Provide health care instructions and counseling to patients and their families.
• Monitor and report on the health status of patients.

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of current nursing practices and methods.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.

Education
