Staff Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the technical architecture for Trust & Vault, focusing on securing card data and enhancing transaction optimization. The position requires hands-on leadership in a high-stakes environment, emphasizing a culture of ownership from development to production.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, with expertise in Go and/or Kotlin.
• Proven ability to architect scalable distributed systems, including APIs and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with tokenization, card vaulting, and PCI-compliant infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud services.
• Excellent automated testing practices in Agile and CI/CD environments.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for card vaulting, authentication, and payment optimization.
• Design resilient, PCI-compliant systems that prioritize security and reliability.
