Senior Specialist - Windows Client Configuration

Job summary

The role involves owning and governing the Windows client platforms used in medical scanning solutions, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. The position requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership within the Client Platform Team.

Qualifications

• Higher education preferred, or extensive relevant experience in lieu.
• Minimum of 5 years of expert-level experience with DISM, WinPE, Sysprep, SCCM/MECM, MDT, Intune/Autopilot, and advanced PowerShell automation.
• Strong understanding of driver catalogs, BIOS/firmware alignment, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with security hardening and compliance frameworks.
• Technical leadership mindset with mentoring capabilities.
• Microsoft certifications (MD-101, MD-102, MD-500 series) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Windows platform strategy, including OS standards and lifecycle improvements.
• Lead and mentor the client platform team on technical decisions regarding OS, drivers, and hardware compatibility.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Windows OS platform issues, providing guidance on complex topics.
• Maintain documentation and version control for stable and secure Windows image releases.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to align deployment practices.
• Review and approve changes related to hardware selections and deployment configurations.
