Senior Video Conferencing Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves taking ownership of video conferencing quality in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for implementing telemetry to track conferencing metrics, improving audio and video quality, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and enhancing team performance in real-time media.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in real-time media, including WebRTC and codecs.
• Proven ability to utilize data for diagnosing issues in real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement telemetry for monitoring latency, quality, and resource usage in video conferencing.
• Identify key metrics for audio and video quality and demonstrate improvements within the first year.
• Diagnose and resolve recurring conferencing issues, taking ownership from identification to solution.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the team to elevate overall performance in real-time media.
