• Significant operational experience on methane-fuelled vessels, both sea-going and shore-based.
• Strong understanding of detailed design for methane fuel and gas-handling systems.
• Proven track record in newbuild and commissioning processes, particularly with first-of-class vessels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design review, commissioning, and operation of methane-fuelled vessels.
• Ensure detailed design meets operational needs by collaborating with yards and OEMs.
• Lead commissioning, gas trials, and ensure smooth transition to service.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners globally.
• Troubleshoot complex methane system issues and provide practical solutions.
• Offer hands-on support and mentorship during trials and operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and feed insights into future designs.

Education

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in the maritime or related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with methane engine operations, gas-handling systems, and relevant maritime technologies.
