Job summary

An experienced Software Engineer is sought to design and enhance software systems for real-time data processing in high-performance environments. The role involves architecting scalable systems that convert raw sensor data into actionable metrics for various applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience with ownership of critical systems or components.
• Strong expertise in C++ and Python, with a history of developing high-performance, production-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and own key components of the real-time data processing platform.
• Make system-level design decisions and improve software architecture.
• Diagnose complex system behaviors and address performance regressions.
• Ensure high standards of reliability, testability, and maintainability in the codebase.

Skills

• Strong understanding of performance engineering, multi-threading, and system-level debugging.
• Experience with CI/CD, code quality, and managing technical debt in production systems.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems for development and debugging of distributed applications.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration.

Education

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
