Senior Software Engineer (Fintech, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves developing and maintaining systems that integrate an investment platform with custodians, brokers, and trading venues, focusing on complex financial integrations and workflows.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of software engineering experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or asset management.
• Familiarity with trading applications, FIX, and order management systems is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in building production systems with a focus on correctness and reliability.
• Understanding of the investment management lifecycle is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations with custodians and brokers, managing data flows for transactions and settlements.
• Design and operate systems for data ingestion, validation, and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across various systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance investment workflows.
• Contribute to the technical direction of critical platform areas.

Skills

• Strong backend engineering skills with technologies such as Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, and AWS.
• Ability to debug complex data issues and design resilient systems.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
