Senior Software Developer (Manufacturing, Hybrid, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves solving complex technical challenges and delivering value to users through the development of an interactive shop floor solution that connects machine centers and operators. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience with Scrum and agile methodologies
• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering on medium to large-scale systems

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to an agile team, addressing both technical and non-technical challenges
• Collaborate with team members through communication, pair programming, and code reviews
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to deliver software in every sprint
• Maintain technical expertise and engage with the engineering community
• Design and implement components focusing on high-quality, reusable code using test-driven development

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React; familiarity with C++, Objective-C, C, Java, or C# is advantageous
• Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Experience with CAD, CAM, CNC machine tools, or hardware communication is a plus

Education

• BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)
