Senior Quantum Test Engineer (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

The role involves working with a diverse team to develop scalable quantum computing systems, focusing on cryogenic and mechanical systems for 4K device measurements. The position requires hands-on hardware work, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cryogenic setups, as well as supporting measurement activities in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems for electronic characterization
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and measurement setups
• Proficiency in Python for measurement automation and Git for version control
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical findings clearly

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 4K cryogenic hardware systems for quantum device screening and measurement
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues in cryogenic setups, including ground loops and wiring faults
• Integrate and validate hardware components for data acquisition
• Assist in executing 4K measurements and collaborate with software and engineering teams
• Design AI agents to document procedures and hardware configurations
• Manage hardware inventory and coordinate procurement
• Uphold and improve safety standards in the cryogenic lab environment

Skills

• Experience with CAD for hardware layout or system integration (preferred)
• Familiarity with quantum measurement workflows (preferred)
• Experience with AI and agentic frameworks (preferred)

Education

• Master’s or higher degree in a relevant field
