Senior QA Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of web features from technical hand-off to production release in a fully remote environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing testing strategies across various scenarios including functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and API testing.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in QA methodology and the software testing lifecycle.
• Proven experience in testing modern web applications with knowledge of client-server architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cross-browser testing and responsive design.
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman and REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with test management platforms such as Jira and Git.
• Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python is a plus.
• Fluent in Russian and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality assurance for web features ensuring they meet functionality and stability standards.
• Review technical specifications and prepare comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute various types of testing including UI/UX and end-to-end API testing.
• Validate applications across multiple browsers and mobile environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support production releases and monitor application performance post-deployment.
• Track QA metrics and contribute to process improvements.
