Senior QA Engineer (Mobile, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications used globally, with a fully remote work setup. The Senior QA Engineer will manage the QA lifecycle, from feature validation to production releases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in mobile QA and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, and software development processes.
• Experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and API testing tools.
• Basic scripting skills in JavaScript or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality validation process from technical hand-off to production deployment.
• Review specifications, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, exploratory, and end-to-end API testing.
• Develop and maintain mobile test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
