Senior QA Engineer (Automation, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing the quality assurance processes for a key project in Private Debt, requiring a blend of test automation and manual testing expertise. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA or software engineering with a focus on test automation.
• Proficient in C# and familiar with .NET testing frameworks such as SpecFlow/Reqnroll.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing in complex business domains, preferably in finance or data-heavy systems.
• Solid experience in testing APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Willingness to learn APL, with no prior experience required but enthusiasm essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile and BDD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using APL, C#, and related tools.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing to validate complex financial solutions and edge cases.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to define clear, testable requirements.
• Analyze and report bugs with clarity and precision.
• Help maintain product quality and contribute to continuous integration, quality gates, and deployment pipelines.
