This role focuses on ensuring quality within an agile software development environment through automation and testing. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will engage in the entire software development lifecycle, emphasizing a quality-first approach.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience as a QA tester or engineer in Agile environments.
• Strong background in developing test strategies and writing detailed test cases.
• Extensive experience in backend testing, including REST APIs and databases.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database tools like DBeaver or MySQL Workbench.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Strong exploratory testing skills and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to feature refinement and clarify requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and execute various tests.
• Investigate defects and document bugs with reproduction steps.
• Validate functionality and provide production sign-off.
• Drive test automation and maintain automated test suites.
