Senior Python Systems Developer (Remote, AI Testing)

Job summary

This role is designed for a Senior Python developer with extensive experience in functional testing, particularly in AI systems. The position involves project-based work with a focus on creating and managing tests across various programming languages and environments.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, primarily in Python.
• Proficient in English (B2 or higher).
• Deep expertise in pytest for designing black-box functional tests.
• Strong skills in Docker and Linux, including Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional black box tests for large codebases in various source languages.
• Create and manage Docker environments to ensure reproducible builds and test execution.
• Monitor code coverage and set automated scoring criteria to meet industry standards.
• Utilize LLMs (e.g., Roo Code, Claude) to enhance development cycles and automate tasks.

Skills

• Expert-level Docker skills, including creating reproducible Dockerfiles and secure workspaces.
• Strong debugging skills within containerized environments.
• Proficiency with modern Python tooling such as uv and pyproject.toml.
• Experience with agent evaluation platforms and MCP CLI is a plus.
