Senior Python Developer (Remote, AI Industry)

Job summary

This role is for a Senior Python Developer specializing in code migration, focusing on functional testing and leveraging AI tools for development. The position is project-based and fully remote, allowing for flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, primarily in Python.
• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher.
• Deep experience with pytest and designing black-box functional tests for CLI tools.
• Prior experience with agent evaluation platforms and MCP CLI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional black box tests for large codebases in various programming languages.
• Create and manage Docker environments to ensure reproducible builds and test execution across platforms.
• Monitor code coverage and set automated scoring criteria to meet industry standards.
• Utilize LLMs to enhance development cycles, automate tasks, and improve code quality.

Skills

• Expert-level skills in Docker, including creating reproducible Dockerfiles and secure workspaces.
• Strong Linux and Bash scripting abilities, with experience debugging in containers.
• Familiarity with modern Python tooling and the ability to read multiple coding languages such as C, C++, Rust, and Go.
• Experience using LLMs for development and test-case generation.
