Senior Project Manager (Power Systems, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves managing complex, large-scale electrical projects with a focus on critical infrastructure and high voltage (HV) systems. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, quality, and financial aspects, as well as guiding technical engineering processes and ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in managing critical infrastructure projects, including HV Cables, HV Substations, Offshore Wind, or Datacentre projects.
• Significant experience in project management, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Advanced understanding of project development stages, including feasibility, design, procurement, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, quality, and financial performance to meet success criteria.
• Guide and review engineering designs, ensuring adherence to engineering principles.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures in line with industry standards.
• Lead design meetings and coordinate work across various engineering disciplines.
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
