Senior Project Manager (Manufacturing, Billund)

Job summary

This role involves leading strategic initiatives in a global manufacturing environment, focusing on moulding production. The position requires a blend of technical insight and project management skills to drive cross-site capacity strategies and enhance supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical or manufacturing setting, preferably with a background in engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and indirect leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 days per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cross-site capacity strategies, identifying constraints and aligning production sites and suppliers for growth.
• Enhance supplier performance through strategic partnerships and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the moulding technology agenda, influencing technology roadmaps and ensuring future-fit solutions.
• Lead project governance, ensuring transparency and effective decision-making in complex risk scenarios.
• Foster cross-functional improvements and collaboration between teams.
• Mentor and develop project management capabilities within the organization.

Skills

• Ability to translate insights into actionable priorities in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in digital tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, for project coordination and communication.

Education

• A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred.
