Senior Product Development Engineer

Job summary

In this role, you will ensure that product requirements are effectively translated into innovative solutions for future roof window platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to define and manage requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements management, systems engineering, product development, or a related engineering discipline.
• Understanding of requirement definition, traceability, verification, validation, and change management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Experience with complex products, modular architectures, or platform-based development environments.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management activities across product and platform development projects.
• Translate market, customer, business, and regulatory needs into clear and verifiable product requirements.
• Ensure requirements traceability, validation, verification, and change management throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor requirement maturity and quality to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the development of requirements management practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Define product and platform concepts, functionalities, and performance targets.
• Drive the development of product-level design concepts and technical solutions.
• Evaluate alternatives and support technical trade-off decisions.

Education

• Relevant technical degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with requirements management tools and methodologies.
