Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing manufacturing performance through process optimization and operational excellence in Finish Production. The Senior Process Engineer will act as a technical liaison among Production, Maintenance, and Engineering, spearheading initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reliability.

Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or process-industry setting.
• Background in process engineering, equipment reliability, continuous improvement, or technical project execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze downtime to drive OEE improvements and lead root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Develop operator capabilities and establish troubleshooting standards and work practices.
• Optimize production flow and packing-line utilization while eliminating hidden losses.
• Lead local improvement projects and assist in the implementation of new equipment and processes.
• Convert technical enhancements into sustainable gains in reliability and performance metrics.
• Support commissioning activities and compliance with EHS standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in cross-functional projects.
