Job summary

The role involves taking technical ownership of complex components within an Internal Developer Platform, focusing on enhancing its architecture and capabilities. The position requires collaboration with development teams to ensure effective platform delivery and operational practices.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering in production settings.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including management and troubleshooting of clusters.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in large organizations (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and Helm.
• Familiarity with progressive delivery methods and GitOps practices.
• Experience with observability tools and secrets management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical direction for core platform features such as Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Oversee complex platform migrations and technical projects from conception to production.
• Establish and promote platform standards and best practices across teams.
• Serve as the primary technical authority on platform-related decisions.
• Engage in cross-team architecture discussions to align on technical strategies.
• Proactively identify risks and implement improvements to the platform.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through collaborative practices.
