Senior OT Network Engineer

Job summary

The role involves supporting new wind projects and the operational fleet within the wind energy sector, ensuring secure and cost-effective SCADA infrastructure operation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SCADA and OT network infrastructures in critical sectors like power generation or renewable energy.
• Certification in CCNP routing and switching or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the SCADA infrastructure operates securely and cost-effectively.
• Support operational wind farms with technical network communication tasks.
• Lead subcontractors on assignments related to network equipment O&M.
• Maintain up-to-date configuration and ensure functional data integration.
• Enhance cybersecurity measures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and optimize network solutions daily.
• Develop and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Implement network segmentation, zoning, routing, switching, and redundancy.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty roster.
• Travel up to 40% in Northern Europe, including offshore work as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in security network solutions (Cisco and Check Point).
• Experienced in supporting highly available networks and knowledge of switching/routing protocols.
• Familiar with designing secure OT environments per industry standards (IEC 62443, NIS2).
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.

Education

• Degree in Engineering or similar field.

• SCADA systems, Cisco and Check Point security solutions.
