Senior Nanofabrication Engineer (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves the manufacturing of nanoscale components for a quantum computing program, contributing to the development of new process blocks and ensuring high-quality delivery that meets engineering specifications. The position requires collaboration with experts and suppliers to drive progress in a cutting-edge technology environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, material science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Solid work experience in a clean room
• Deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience with fabrication processes such as lithography, deposition, wet chemistry, and dry etch processes, along with associated metrology
• In-depth experience in electron beam lithography and/or wet chemistry processes

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain nano fabrication process blocks
• Drive the manufacturing and delivery of standardized and exploratory nanoscale components
• Provide technical guidance to equipment engineers and process technicians
• Analyze data and interpret process and testing data for continuous improvements
• Design and build AI agents/copilots for lab workflows and data analysis
• Collaborate with process, measurement, and design teams to drive progress
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment
• Implement process documentation
• Model safety standards and practices and ensure compliance with policies

Skills

• Excellent understanding of semiconductor micro- and nanofabrication technologies
• Experience with structured experimental methodologies and related analysis
• Proficiency in CAD tools and layout generation
• Practical experience with MES systems and failure analysis methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork

• Master’s or higher degree in a relevant field
