Senior Medical Specialist (Clinical Development, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing clinical drug development and providing scientific support for clinical trials focused on rare neurological disorders. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree with post-graduate clinical training or experience, preferably in rare diseases.
• PhD and/or significant clinical research experience in a relevant field is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of clinical development experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, particularly in late-stage development and regulatory submissions related to rare diseases.
• Proven ability to present clinical data at scientific and clinical events.
• Strong collaborative skills in a matrix organization.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical drug development (phase IB-IV) and support clinical trials.
• Act as a Clinical Research Scientist and/or Medical Expert for clinical trials.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of innovative clinical development programs.
• Potentially act as Clinical Lead based on qualifications and portfolio needs.
