Senior Manager (Pharmaceutical Automation, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves leading a newly established team within the Distributed Control System (DCS) department, focusing on automation engineering services for the pharmaceutical API production sector. The Senior Manager will define the strategic direction of the department and ensure the execution of key business objectives while fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing managers and high-performing teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector, with a strong background in complex engineering projects.
• Deep expertise in pharma automation technologies such as DCS, PLC, and IT/OT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage a team of 15–25 employees delivering automation engineering services.
• Drive competence development within the department in collaboration with management teams.
• Participate in projects to stay updated on technical advancements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and collaboration with customer representatives.
