The role of Senior IT Service Specialist focuses on providing on-site support for hardware, software, and network issues at headquarters and market units. This position involves overseeing incident management, request fulfillment, and facility management while collaborating with a local service desk team and global IT teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with 1st and 2nd line support on infrastructure/cloud and business applications
  • Familiarity with IT support across different cultures and time zones
  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced on-site support for various IT issues
  • Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and requests
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage IT assets, including procurement and inventory
  • Participate in global IT projects and ensure local compliance
  • Provide immediate support during outages or critical incidents
  • Coordinate office moves and IT infrastructure setup

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft platforms, Citrix, VMware, Azure, and Salesforce
  • Proficient in using ITSM tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality support

Education

  • Relevant IT certifications and experience in IT service management
