Senior Frontend Engineer

Job summary

The role involves developing the interface layer of a product aimed at transforming legal work through AI-powered legal research. The engineer will tackle complex UI challenges and collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to create a polished user experience.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of frontend development experience, particularly with React and TypeScript.
• Proficient in Next.js, preferably with App Router.
• Strong CSS skills and familiarity with modern styling techniques such as Tailwind or CSS modules.
• Proven experience in shipping complex stateful UIs in production.
• Good product instincts and design sensibility to improve user experience.
• Effective communication skills with a focus on feedback and team support.
• Interest in understanding user needs beyond just technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of frontend features from architecture to deployment in a React, Next.js, and TypeScript environment.
• Develop and maintain complex UI components, including AI chat interfaces and document viewers.
• Contribute to the evolution of the component library and frontend architecture.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to transform ambiguous challenges into functional features.
• Enhance team quality through code reviews and setting technical standards.
