Job summary

A Senior Frontend Engineer is sought to develop the interface layer of an innovative product aimed at transforming legal work through AI-powered research. This role involves tackling complex UI challenges and shaping user interactions for legal professionals across Europe.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of frontend development experience, particularly with React and TypeScript.
• Proficient in Next.js, preferably with experience in App Router.
• Strong CSS skills and familiarity with modern styling techniques such as Tailwind or CSS modules.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, stateful UIs in production environments.
• Excellent product instincts and design sensibility, with a focus on user experience.
• Effective communication skills, with a collaborative and low-ego approach.
• A genuine interest in understanding user needs and motivations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of frontend features within a React, Next.js, and TypeScript codebase.
• Create and maintain advanced user interfaces, including AI chat functionalities and document viewers.
• Contribute to the development of the component library and frontend architecture as the team expands.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to convert ambiguous challenges into user-friendly features.
• Enhance team quality standards through code reviews and technical guidance.

Skills

• Experience with LLM APIs, document rendering, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
• Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js) and legal or fintech domains is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development or a related field.
