Senior Engineering Manager

Job summary

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in building and operating large-scale, distributed cloud services (SaaS).
• Strong leadership skills in hiring, coaching, and developing engineering teams.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including microservices and CI/CD.
• Practical AI literacy, with the ability to integrate AI responsibly into products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver impactful features and improvements.
• Set technical strategy and execution plans, prioritizing work for maximum value and efficiency.
• Define and track KPIs to ensure quality and meet business goals.
• Drive architectural decisions and tradeoffs for scalability and security.

• Foster a positive engineering culture focused on career development and diversity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to responsibly launch AI-enabled features.
