Senior Data Engineer (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves building a new data platform with a focus on a Snowflake-based architecture. The Senior Data Engineer will play a crucial role in developing data pipelines and tooling for the Market & Reference Data business domain.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering with Python.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with containerized applications on Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Apache Airflow is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS or other public cloud services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Background in end-to-end delivery teams and Data Mesh strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and identify key problems to address.
• Collaborate across teams to share knowledge and influence architectural decisions.
• Develop and enhance the NAM Data Platform by integrating new data sources and transformations.
• Continuously improve the platform by adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• Build internal tools to facilitate the migration to the NAM data platform.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technology standards and implementation guidelines.

Education
