Senior Data Architect (Remote, India)

Job summary

Qualifications

• 12-20 years of experience in data architecture and solution design.
• Proven expertise in architecture design related to data.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud hosting technologies.
• Business-focused with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure, Databricks, and data architecture solutions.
• Stay updated on current and emerging technology trends.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as POCs, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with Capability CTOs and technical SMEs to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure alignment of product roadmaps with the firm's digital strategy.

Skills

• Strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture roles.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and risk management.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior colleagues.
• Familiarity with GDPR and ISO 27001 is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Tools

• Experience with Azure, Databricks, AWS, and GCP is desirable.
