Senior Cloud Engineer (DevOps/SRE)

Job summary

The role focuses on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within a cloud environment, primarily using Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include building, automating, securing, and operating Azure-based platform capabilities for customer-facing products, with a strong emphasis on reliability and operational stability.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, platform engineering, or backend/cloud software development.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure concepts, including networking, compute, storage, identity, databases, and managed services.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for Pulumi.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET for infrastructure code and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in CI/CD, AKS/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and incident readiness.
• Maintain and enhance the team's Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to align on Azure standards and best practices.
• Contribute to backend services in the Account domain, including implementation, testing, and deployment readiness.

Skills

• Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Backend engineering experience in C#/.NET, especially with RESTful APIs and event-driven services, is advantageous.
• Strong ownership mindset focused on automation and reliability.

Education

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
