Senior Clinical Scientist (On-site, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting a biotechnology company in the development of a novel program focused on depression. The position is part-time and freelance, requiring on-site presence in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Neuroscience, or a related field (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent preferred).
• Direct clinical development experience in depression is essential; broader psychiatry or CNS experience is insufficient.
• Proven experience in authoring clinical study protocols and synopses within a drug development context.
• Ability to independently contribute to clinical development strategy in a small biotech setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the scientific strategy for the drug development program.
• Design and develop clinical study protocols and synopses.
• Provide scientific input on study design, endpoints, and development planning.
• Analyze clinical study data in collaboration with statisticians and physicians.
• Write and review clinical study documentation.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, biometrics, and external researchers.
• Present study results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure studies comply with scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Skills

Education

• Advanced degree in a relevant field as specified above.
