Senior CAE Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior CAE Engineer in Advanced Engineering, you will focus on delivering high-quality Computer Aided Engineering simulations that enhance element and mould development, contributing to a data-driven engineering organization. You will work within the CAE Simulation team to combine simulation expertise with data insights to improve engineering productivity and quality across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, materials, or related) or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-performing engineering environment
• Experience in delivering CAE simulation work that supports engineering decisions
• Proficient in applying analytical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
• Strong problem-solving skills through structured root cause analysis
• Fluent in written and spoken English in a professional context

Responsibilities

• Deliver simulation requests with high quality and within agreed timelines
• Advise stakeholders on simulation capabilities and their alignment with departmental goals
• Enhance moulding quality through simulation-driven insights and automation
• Standardize simulation processes, documentation, and workflows
• Collaborate with simulation specialists and stakeholders on customer-facing solutions
• Promote the use of simulation tools across the organization through capability building

Skills

• Experience with injection moulding simulation in product or manufacturing development
• Knowledge of polymer materials and their engineering applications
• Familiarity with technical change management and process adoption

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
