Senior Backend Developer (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

An experienced Backend Developer is sought to contribute to the Digital Wealth Engineering team, focusing on Savings and Investment solutions. The role involves working with modern Java technologies in a microservice environment, supporting both development and operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of backend engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, and JPA.
• Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD, OAuth2, MSSQL, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java/Spring Boot solutions.
• Collaborate with business experts and support colleagues in creating online trading solutions.
• Engage in all development stages from design to production, including operational support.
• Act as a technical partner within the team and the broader Digital Wealth area.
• Ensure the existing codebase is well-maintained and up to date.

Skills

• Strong technical skills with an interest in the finance industry.

• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development.

Tools

• Experience with Angular, Wicket, Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ and GitHub Copilot is advantageous.
