Qualifications

  • MD and PhD, preferably in cardiovascular disease.
  • Clinical experience as a physician or experience in the pharmaceutical industry related to cardiometabolic or cardiovascular therapy.
  • Understanding of cardiometabolic disease research and the life sciences stakeholder ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for research results and evaluations.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope and strategic direction of clinical cardiovascular disease activities.
  • Conduct literature reviews to identify evidence gaps and inform strategic priorities.
  • Engage with national and international partners and stakeholders.
  • Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops.
  • Develop strategic proposals and concept notes for research funding.
  • Support other departments with applications and ongoing projects.
