Qualifications

  • PhD in Optics or a related field preferred
  • Experience in laser design theory, particularly in fiber optics
  • Proficiency in laser feedback and control
  • Hands-on experience in laser labs, including free-space optics alignment and testing
  • Familiarity with optical system modeling techniques
  • Proficient in Python, Matlab, and MS Office tools
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development for new laser systems
  • Collaborate with optical, electronic, and mechanical teams
  • Evaluate new technologies for integration into the technology roadmap
  • Take ownership of project work packages, ensuring timely delivery and reporting
