Qualifications

  • PhD in Optics or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in laser design theory, particularly with fiber lasers.
  • Proficiency in laser feedback and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience in a laser laboratory, including free-space optics alignment and testing.
  • Knowledge of optical system modeling techniques, such as split-step GNLSE and rate-equation-based amplifier modeling.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and tools like Python, Matlab, and MS Office.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scientific research and development of new products, processes, and materials.
  • Collaborate with optical, electronic, and mechanical teams to design and solve problems.
  • Take ownership of project work packages, ensuring timely delivery and reporting.

Skills

  • Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation in daily tasks.
  • Ability to work closely with experts from various disciplines.

Education
