Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Optics or a related field preferred
• Experience in laser design theory, particularly in fiber
• Familiarity with laser feedback and control
• Practical experience in a laser lab, including free-space optics alignment, testing, and measurement
• Proficiency in optical system modeling techniques
• Knowledge of Python, Matlab, and MS Office tools
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development for new laser systems
• Collaborate with optical, electronic, and mechanical teams
• Evaluate new technologies for integration into the technology roadmap
• Manage project work packages to ensure timely delivery and reporting
