Job summary

This position offers an opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research on wearable neural interfaces, focusing on the development of experimental and technical foundations for a new research program. The role involves hands-on work in establishing laboratory infrastructure and developing wireless systems for non-invasive electromyography.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with embedded systems, electronics, or sensor-system development.
  • Experience with data acquisition, physiological measurements, or biomedical instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in programming for embedded development and data processing (e.g., C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
  • Ability to prototype, test, troubleshoot, and document experimental systems.
  • Interest in wearable neurotechnology, electromyography, signal processing, or machine learning.
  • Capability to work independently while collaborating in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish laboratory infrastructure, measurement setups, and workflows for human experiments.
  • Define technical specifications for wearable EMG acquisition and processing systems.
  • Design, prototype, and validate embedded electronics for wireless wearable neural interfaces.
  • Implement data acquisition, storage, and processing pipelines.
  • Integrate firmware, hardware, and software components into usable experimental platforms.
  • Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Support proof-of-concept human experiments and preliminary data collection.

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Embedded systems, data acquisition tools, programming languages (C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
