React Engineer (Tech, Lisbon)

Job summary

This role involves developing responsive and accessible user interfaces for web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging front-end experiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces based on design specifications, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Develop and maintain code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including React, as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Optimize performance by improving page load times and overall user experience.
• Work with backend teams to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless data flow.
• Adhere to accessibility standards and best practices for search engine optimization.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with approximately 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and experience with modern web frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, version control systems, and CI/CD practices.
