Production Engineer

Job summary

The role of Production Engineer focuses on establishing an optimal production foundation for industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps utilizing CO2 as a refrigerant. The position involves close collaboration with various departments to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Craft background in blacksmithing or a relevant trade, supplemented by education such as Production Technologist or Mechanical Engineer / Marine Engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the refrigeration industry or OEM manufacturing.
• Strong technical and IT skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procedures, work processes, and instructions.
• Engage in improvement projects within production.
• Optimize lead times and production efficiency.
• Ensure high availability of production equipment and manage maintenance coordination.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage non-conformance reports for continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate production-related Master data.
