Product Engineer (Fresh Water Generators, Søborg)

Job summary

This role involves working as a Product Engineer focused on Fresh Water Generators, ensuring their optimal performance at customer sites worldwide. The position requires high travel, up to 120 days per year, including both onshore and offshore installations.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a 1st or chief engineer, preferably in electrical installation and machinery, or as a Field Service Engineer.
• Educational background in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Ability to obtain a medical certificate and BOSIET for offshore travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning tasks for Fresh Water Generators at customer locations.
• Provide engineering support to technical teams.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure compliance and quality.
• Perform troubleshooting and upgrades to maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Offer technical advice to field service teams and customers.
• Report findings to commissioning and project teams.
• Conduct performance and condition audits of installations.
