Job summary

This role involves leading the development of Portfolio Management capabilities within a financial technology context, focusing on enhancing the workflows of portfolio managers. The position requires a strong understanding of portfolio management processes and the ability to translate user needs into actionable product increments.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Experience in building B2B or enterprise software, particularly for asset management or front-office users.
• Strong grasp of Portfolio Management and decision-making workflows.
• Comfortable with analytics, data, and financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and backlog for Portfolio Management capabilities.
• Translate portfolio manager needs into actionable product increments delivered in sprints.
• Lead and prioritize the backlog for 1-2 full-stack scrum teams, balancing value, quality, and technical health.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to shape workflows and data models.
• Develop a deep understanding of portfolio manager workflows, including monitoring, risk analysis, and order execution.
• Write product briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria focused on user intent.
• Use feedback and data to validate priorities and iterate on product development.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure coherent workflows across product areas.
• Support client discussions with real use cases.
