Principal Medical Technology Consultant (Healthcare, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves providing expert clinical and technical support for a medical technology product, specifically the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, to healthcare professionals in Denmark. The consultant will play a key role in training and supporting physicians and EP Lab staff, ensuring effective use and acceptance of the technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific fields; IBHRE or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Clinical experience in electrophysiology (EP) with a strong understanding of 3D Mapping systems.
• Proven ability to work independently in EP Labs and achieve vendor credentialing.
• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
• Proficient in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab staff regarding the AFFERA™ system and related equipment.
• Assist in the planning and installation of the AFFERA™ system, collaborating with technical teams.
• Support the education team in developing training centers and provide technical troubleshooting assistance.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and mentor new colleagues.
• Stay updated on product information and relevant scientific literature.
• Participate in regional and international congresses and workshops.

Education
