Job summary

This consultancy role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of a Product Quality Assurance framework for sexual reproductive health commodities. The consultant will manage quality risks, oversee complaint logging, and ensure vendor compliance while collaborating with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education is required; a university degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields is preferred.
  • Relevant training in quality assurance or supply chain management is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Implement risk management strategies for quality complaints and regulatory alerts.
  • Generate compliance reports for suppliers based on technical specifications.
  • Analyze and manage deviations in transportation and storage conditions.
  • Maintain systems for CAPAs, complaints, and non-conformances with thorough documentation.
  • Conduct sampling, testing, and inspections of reproductive health products in compliance with cGDP and cGMP standards.
  • Manage product recall systems and collaborate with stakeholders for effective execution.
  • Prepare quality metrics and participate in team meetings to present findings.
  • Support budget management and contribute to innovative quality assurance approaches.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance standards and practices in healthcare.

Education

  • Completion of Secondary education is required.
