Job summary

This role serves as a key architectural authority within Group IT, focusing on the design, governance, and evolution of cloud platforms to ensure secure and scalable solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure in complex environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams to create robust cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of governance, security, and cost management in enterprise cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Azure cloud architectures according to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams to provide architectural guidance on landing zones, networking, identity, security, and governance.
• Translate business and technical requirements into pragmatic, cloud-native architectural designs.
• Establish and maintain architectural standards and design principles for new Managed Landing Zone concepts.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migrations and optimizations of existing platforms.

Skills

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, security, identity, networking, and cost management practices.
• Proficiency in modern cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field.
