Postdoctoral Researcher in Circular Construction (Engineering, Remote)

Job summary

This position involves conducting research on the reusability assessment of structural components within the context of circular construction. Qualifications

• PhD degree (or equivalent) in construction materials science or a related field.
• Strong experience in non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Background in collaborating with various stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Experience with EU Horizon or similar large projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on NDT applications for assessing the reusability of materials and components.
• Optimize NDT methodologies for various structural assessments.
• Develop a database and implement statistical and AI tools in research.
• Teach and supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s student projects.
• Design research projects and write grant applications.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with industrial partners.
