Platform Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves designing, building, maintaining, and promoting the adoption of an internal engineering platform, focusing on infrastructure, automation, and developer experience. The position is fully remote and allows for collaboration with teams across Europe.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar systems engineering role.
• Proficient in Linux system administration, preferably with RHEL-based systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management with Rancher and GitOps practices using ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the platform using Kubernetes, AWS, and OpenStack.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and lifecycle management of Linux environments.
• Administer core tools for the platform, including Rancher, ArgoCD, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting complex deployment and dependency issues.
• Identify and address bottlenecks, enhance system reliability, and evaluate new technologies to improve developer experience.

• Strong skills in IaC (Terraform & Ansible), Kubernetes & Orchestration, CI/CD & GitOps (ArgoCD), and Linux administration.
• Experience with electronic signatures, trust services, and automation tools.
