Platform Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves owning and advancing the MUSE Platform, focusing on both product development and delivery. You will help standardize the platform as it transitions from project-based to a consistent productized offering, while also implementing and commissioning the platform in real customer projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and hands-on Proxmox operation.
• Comfort operating Docker / Docker Compose services.
• Knowledge of network and OT/industrial systems, including VLANs, firewalls, and VPN.
• Familiarity with IAM tooling and security concepts.
• Methodical, documentation-first approach to product development.
• Willingness to travel for site installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize the MUSE Platform baseline, including virtualization and containerization.
• Build and maintain the container platform with internal image registry and versioning.
• Advance the observability stack with dashboards and alerting systems.
• Improve backup, recovery, and high-availability patterns.
• Implement the platform in customer delivery projects, including hardware setup and integration.
• Lead platform validation during FAT/SAT and commissioning processes.
• Feed delivery learnings back into the product baseline to enhance repeatability.

Skills

• Experience with OT/SCADA connectivity and Windows Server administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 / NIS2 concepts and experience with air-gapped environments is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Proxmox, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and various network and security tools.
